CHECK YOUR PROCESSOR'S SPEED

The CPUCHECK console command provides additional information that the SPEED command doesn't offer. But using these two commands in conjunction can give you important information about your system's
processor.

At the server console, type CPUCHECK. The resulting output will include the processor speed in MHz, processor ID, processor version and subversion, amount of L1 and L2 cache memory, and current revision number.

The CPUCHECK command can also be used to turn off the serial number feature of processors using the technology. At the server console, type CPUCHECK SN OFF. This will disable the CPU serial number.

For troubleshooting purposes, CPUCHECK can be used to verify that your processor type and speed is being recognized correctly.
