ADD LICENSES TO A NETWARE SERVER

At some point in your career, you'll be faced with the task of installing additional licenses. NetWare Licensing Services makes this task much easier for you.

You can use NetWare Administrator to install the new licenses. In NWAdmin, follow these steps:

	Select Tools \| Novell Licensing Services.
	Choose Add Licenses.
	In the dialog box, select License File and click OK.
	A browse window will open, and you can navigate to the location where the available license certificates are stored, which in many cases is A:\.
	After selecting the appropriate location, you'll see the Add Certificates From An Envelope dialog box. Choose the license file to install, and then set the context for the license by using the Browse button located near the To Context field.
	When you're satisfied that the license and context are correct, click Add to install the license.
	After the license has been installed, you'll receive a summary of the installation.

When you close the summary window, you'll be prompted to assign the license certificate to a file server. To do this, click Assign Server and navigate to the desired server from the Browse window. When you return to the Server Assignment window, verify that the server assignment is correct. If it is, click OK to finish the license installation.
